On a recent trip to Miami to celebrate my son's birthday with his extended family, not sure how I was exposed to Covid. Did not experience any symptoms until I returned to Atlanta and there is where everything went from bad to worse to WHAT THE F#$K!
On Oct 21st, my son and I took a birthday trip to Miami to see our family. We were there for 4-days then headed back to Atlanta. On the morning of Oct 25th, took an early flight and started to experience some body aches. I ignored the body aches and continued with my day. Each day passes, my body aches worsen and now fatigue started to kick in. After a couple of more days with the feeling of fatigue and severe body aches, I opted to take a Covid test on Friday, Oct 29th. Drove to a Covid test location, took the test then received my result in a couple of hours: POSITIVE COVID-19.
Yes, I tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, I immediately started the quarantine protocol and lock myself away for the next 12 days to start the recovering process. During those 12 days, it was dreadful, painful, fearful, and lonely. While you're sick, your mind is one of the most dangerous places to be. Also, being confined indoors is maddening when you're an outdoorsy type of guy. Anyways, I suffered alone and dealt with the Covid complications head-on. Luckily for me, I didn't have severe symptoms such as no taste and smell, or difficultly breathing. Just body aches and hell-wrenching coughs which felt like my lungs were coming out of my mouth. Ah yes, I spent $150 on over counter drugs which none of them freaking worked. Don't even bother. Just focus on improving your immune system with Vitamin C & D, Elderberry, Zinc, Magnesium, and get a lot of sleep. Time is all you have in recovering from Covid unless you have some underlying health issues prolonging the recovery process.
On Nov 8th, I was cleared and no longer contiguous. The road to recovery begins and getting back in healthy tip-top shape is the highest priority for my coming trips to Colombia (Thanksgiving) and Dominican Republic (Christmas/New Year).
Important Note: Please take care of your health and do not prolong your doctor visits. If you are experiencing any abnormalities, see your doctor and get tested immediately. If you are considering vaccination, do your research and find the best vaccination option that will work best for you.
Hey bro!!! I'm glad you were able to recover!
Good to hear you are back on track to recovery and being fit.
