The more I think about Pick Up Artist (PUA) coaches’ gripe with Passport Bros hosting 6-hour-long streams, it has dawned on me that there is something deeper afoot. These guys are desperate. Men, especially black men with passports, have found the cheat code to happiness in dating and interacting with women healthily without resorting to the pre-historic dating guides. Now, they have resorted to shaming tactics to convenience men to use their grossly charged service fees without showcasing any tangible proof of their success rates.
These PUAs remind me of jocks from high school. You know them. The pretty boys, the thugged-out dudes that talk a lot but don’t make any sense. The over-protected sports jock who wasn’t as great as he thought he was. These guys peaked in high school. The PUAs are the bullies you run into 10 to 20 years later at the family or class reunion. With their crude jokes, attention-seeking jabs, and brags about fingering Ms. Popular and all her friends on the bus. These guys graduated, and winded up on YouTube, attempting to use the same tactics. But no. You grew up, you took control of your life and built something. You reaped the benefits, and it did not come cheap. You stumbled, picked yourself back up, and learned from your mistakes. These experiences have allowed you to make critical choices. Vetted choices in all you do. Whether it’s dating, money, family, or leisure.
These are who the PUAs are. Mad at the times that are changing. Mad that the ones they took advantage of graduated and moved to another level. No don’t get it twisted, a level of charisma, communication skills, and putting your best foot forward is always good to have. But you don’t have to resort to the labyrinth of “game” that requires paid consultation from the book of toxic, high-school leveled, advice from your uncle with the porno stash with Vanessa Blue on the covers.
Stay Traveling Brothers. Evolve over the BS. Vote with your feet, not with needless debates with guys still stuck in a time warp.
