San Salvador, El Salavdor Trip Report 🇸🇻
Well... I truly enjoyed my time and experiences in El Salavdor. I now understand why this place is the new hot destination on Instagram. Want to make this clear, I never felt unsafe while in San Salvador and moved on freely from City to the pacific coastal towns. No issues! If anything, i amazed how americanized this country is with all of the american businesses and currency. Also, you can use bitcon out there. San Salvador has everything you need and want that you can find in the states. You're good! Ah yes... folks were highly impressed with my Spanish. Surprised alot of folks!!!!
Now moving to the trip assessment...
Airfare: Air Avianca was only $219 from Miami.
Transportation: You can use Uber but I opted to rent a car (Toyota Corella) to get around from the city, moutains and coastal areas. My rental cost for 6 days was $210 which included insurance. Average uber cost around the city is less than $3.00.
Lodging: Lodging accommodations is cheap but I opted to spend more for epic views and access. During my stay, i stayed in 4 different places across San Salvador and Libertad. Average daily lodging was $65 to $150 a night but I paid for the amazing views.
Activities: Visited a variety of areas like Cafe Albania, Picnic Steak House, Nawi Beach Club, El Tunco Beach, lodging at hotels like Acantilados as well as climbed Santa Rose Volcano 🌋 which I am still feeling the pain and recovering 😀. For a jam packed few days, there is alot to see and do so you will never be bored.
Overall... I recommend this place as a Baecation (couple) or girls trip. For us single dudes, nah! If you want to experience something different and affordable, check out San Salvador, El Salvador. You will enjoy yourself. Here are some pics. Highlight 4k videos are coming soon.
