Here is a video highlighting my road trip https://youtu.be/bnZX39Lav48
The island of Hispanola features two distinctive countries: Haiti 🇭🇹 and Dominican 🇩🇴. One side of the island is my family's birthplace and the official l@anguage is French and Creole while another side of the island's official language is Spanish. From the people to culture, each country has its distinctive attributes which set them apart.
The Dominican Republic is a beautiful country which I had pleasured exploring immensely from North, South, East to West. From the coastlines to central mountainous regions where you need to wear a jacket.
Well. Here are the following cities and towns that I have visited in the Dominican Republic:
Santo Domingo, Santiago, Juan Dolio, La Vega, Boca Chica, Jarabacoa, Higuey, La Romana, San Pedro, Puerto Plata, Sousa, Cabarete, San Juan, Gasper, Nagua, Samana, Constanza, Punta Cana, Dajabon, Monti Christi, Cabrera, Santo Domingo Esta, San Francisco de Macoris. Shit, I even got lost somewhere in DR that I didn't even know or identify.....
Now I am heading back for some rest as well we are meeting up with a few friends. A new destination in the Dominican Republic is Las Terrenas on the northeastern side of the island. This is a road trip from Cabarate which take 4 hours on Interstate 5 along the coast.
How safe Las Terrenas is? Yes, Las Terrenas is safe! It is one of the first reasons why so many foreigners decided to live or invest here. Criminality rates are much lower than anywhere else in the Dominican Republic.
Well a trip report is coming soon and highlight video if my adventures
